Agence Littéraire Lora Fountain & Associates was created in 1985 and sells translation rights for books published in English, German and Spanish into France. Our principal areas of interest are fiction (adult and children's/YA) and non-fiction. We also sell illustrated practical books and graphic novels and represent French authors.

Before founding the agency, Lora Fountain worked as a free-lance editor, developed a best-selling sex-education comic book, produced and directed educational videos and co-founded a literary agency in San Francisco.  After living in London and Barcelona, she moved to Paris and began selling translation rights for English-language books to French publishers. Her areas of expertise are adult fiction, graphic novels and children’s fiction, and she also sells other language rights for certain of the Agency’s clients. 

Sandrine  Paccher joined the Agency as an associate and co-director in 2004.  Before, she worked at the Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany, for Flammarion and Albin Michel Jeunesse as a right manager and as a literary agent for Agence Hoffman. She sells translation rights for books published in English, German and Spanish. Her principal areas of interest are fiction (adult and children's/YA) and non-fiction, and she also represents French authors.
